We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our dynamic kitchen team as Anggota Tim Dapur (Kitchen Crew) at a well‑established restaurant and café located in the vibrant city of Batu, Malang. This full‑time, shift‑based position offers the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced food‑and‑beverage environment, serving a diverse clientele ranging from local families to tourists exploring the region. Candidates must be male, aged between 20 and 30 years, and possess a minimum of one year of hands‑on experience in a restaurant or café setting. The role demands honesty, discipline, responsibility, and a strong team‑oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate a wide variety of menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Set up and maintain cooking stations, ensuring all equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, etc.) is clean, functional, and ready for service.
- Assist the head chef in inventory management, including receiving deliveries, proper storage, and rotating stock to minimize waste.
- Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene protocols, performing regular cleaning of work surfaces, utensils, and kitchen appliances.
- Collaborate closely with fellow kitchen crew members, front‑of‑house staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures, adjusting as necessary to meet customer expectations for taste and presentation.
- Participate in daily briefings, providing feedback on menu items, workflow improvements, and any equipment issues.
- Support special events, banquets, and catering orders by preparing large‑scale dishes while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of knives, hot equipment, and hazardous materials.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Male.
- Age: 20 – 30 years.
- Residency: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Batu, Malang.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in a restaurant, café, or similar F&B establishment.
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Soft Skills: Honesty, strong discipline, reliability, excellent teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Work Schedule: Availability for full‑time shifts, including weekends (Monday – Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
