Introduction
We are seeking a talented Drafter – Pembuatan Gambar Teknik to join our dynamic product development team in Sukabumi. The ideal candidate will transform conceptual sketches and R&D ideas into precise 3‑D models and technical drawings that drive prototype creation, product launches, and engineering execution. This role offers the chance to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, leverage cutting‑edge design software, and contribute to innovative projects across product design, architecture, and interior solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3‑D models and technical drawings for new product concepts, prototypes, and project proposals using SketchUp, AutoCAD, and related CAD tools.
- Interpret hand‑sketched ideas from the R&D team and translate them into accurate visualizations, ensuring design intent is preserved.
- Create high‑quality renderings and realistic simulations to support design reviews, client presentations, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate daily with R&D engineers, manufacturing specialists, and production staff to verify that designs meet functional specifications and manufacturability criteria.
- Maintain a systematic file‑management system, ensuring all design files, version histories, and supporting documentation are stored according to company standards.
- Produce clear 2‑D working drawings from 3‑D models, including dimensioned plans, sections, and detail views required for fabrication and assembly.
- Participate in design critique sessions, offering constructive feedback and suggesting improvements to enhance ergonomics, aesthetics, and cost efficiency.
- Stay current with emerging CAD technologies, rendering techniques, and industry best practices to continuously elevate the quality of output.
- Assist in preparing technical specifications and bill‑of‑materials (BOM) documents that accompany design packages.
- Support project timelines by meeting strict deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and communicating progress to project managers.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor) in Product Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a closely related field.
- At least 1 year of professional experience creating 3‑D models and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with 3‑D design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and familiarity with additional tools (Revit, Rhino, Blender, or SolidWorks is a plus).
- Strong rendering capabilities, able to produce photorealistic images and animation for stakeholder presentations.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and adherence to technical standards.
- Excellent time‑management skills; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, essential for collaboration with R&D, engineering, and production departments.
- Preferred residency in Cikembar, Sukabumi, or surrounding areas to facilitate on‑site coordination.
