Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Guru Mata Pelajaran Teknik Kendaraan Ringan to join our dedicated team of educators in Kabupaten Ciamis. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the next generation of automotive technicians by delivering high‑quality instruction in lightweight vehicle technology, fostering hands‑on skills, and promoting a culture of safety and innovation. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and will be expected to contribute both in the classroom and within the workshop environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive curricula covering engine fundamentals, chassis dynamics, electrical systems, and emerging lightweight vehicle technologies.
- Conduct classroom lectures, practical laboratory sessions, and workshop demonstrations that align with national vocational standards.
- Assess student performance through written exams, project evaluations, and hands‑on competency tests, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and calibrate workshop equipment, ensuring all tools and machinery meet safety regulations and are ready for student use.
- Collaborate with industry partners to integrate real‑world case studies, guest lectures, and internship opportunities into the program.
- Mentor students on career pathways, certification processes, and professional development within the automotive sector.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and school‑wide initiatives to enhance overall educational quality.
- Manage classroom discipline and foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages teamwork and respectful communication.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on student progress, resource utilization, and instructional outcomes to school administration.
- Stay current with advancements in lightweight vehicle engineering, including electric and hybrid technologies, to keep the curriculum relevant.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Residency requirement: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Kabupaten Ciamis.
- Prior teaching or industry experience in automotive or lightweight vehicle technology is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
- Demonstrated honesty, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
