Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and customer‑focused Kasir Penjualan Toko (Klakah) to join our bustling retail team. This full‑time position is based in a high‑traffic store that serves a diverse community of shoppers. As the front‑line ambassador of the brand, the cashier ensures smooth, accurate transactions while delivering friendly, professional service that encourages repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, processing cash, debit, credit, and digital payments with zero errors.
- Maintain accurate cash drawers, perform end‑of‑day balancing, and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, returns, exchanges, and promotions, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Monitor inventory levels at the checkout area, replenish bags, receipts, and promotional materials as needed.
- Collaborate with sales associates and floor managers to resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
- Adhere to store policies on pricing, discounts, and loyalty programs while safeguarding against fraud.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout environment, including regular sanitization of work surfaces.
- Support visual merchandising efforts during off‑peak hours, such as arranging impulse‑buy items near the register.
- Handle high‑volume periods, such as weekends and sales events, while staying calm under pressure.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on product knowledge, system upgrades, and customer‑service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a cash handling or retail sales role.
