Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Les Privat (private tutor) to join our dynamic team in Bontang. This role is ideal for enthusiastic educators who love interacting with children and teenagers and are eager to make a meaningful impact on their academic journey. As a private tutor, you will provide personalized instruction across a range of grade levels—from kindergarten to high school—tailoring each session to the unique learning style and needs of your students.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans for subjects appropriate to the student’s level (TK, SD, SMP, SMA).
- Assess individual learning gaps and create customized strategies to improve academic performance.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and feedback for parents or guardians.
- Provide homework assistance and exam preparation, ensuring students are well‑prepared for school assessments.
- Communicate regularly with parents to discuss goals, progress, and any challenges that arise.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches.
- Uphold a safe, respectful, and motivating learning environment both in‑home and at our tutoring centers.
- Participate in regular training sessions and professional development workshops offered by the company.
- Adhere to the scheduled teaching hours (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and be flexible with occasional adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, reflecting the high standards of our organization.
Requirements
- Female candidates only.
- Minimum education: active university student (preferably in the final semester) or a graduate with a bachelor’s degree (S1) from any discipline; education majors are highly preferred.
- Strong passion for teaching and a natural ability to connect with children and adolescents.
- Capability to teach a broad range of subjects across all school levels (TK to SMA).
- Excellent communication skills, patience, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Professional, neat, and modest appearance.
- Willingness to follow the set teaching schedule and adapt to occasional changes.
- Residency within the Bontang area is a plus, providing convenience for both the tutor and students.
- Basic proficiency in instructional technology and willingness to incorporate digital tools into lessons.
