Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Operator Mesin CNC Lathe to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is critical to our production line, ensuring that high‑precision turning operations are performed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work with state‑of‑the‑art CNC turning equipment, interpret technical drawings, and collaborate closely with engineering and quality assurance teams.
Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC lathe machines for a variety of metal components, adhering to specified tolerances.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and G‑Code programs to determine correct tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, including tool changes, lubrication, and troubleshooting of mechanical or electrical issues.
- Monitor the machining process in real time, making adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and minimize waste.
- Conduct in‑process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and coordinate‑measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensions.
- Document production data, machine settings, and any deviations in the manufacturing logbook.
- Collaborate with the engineering department to refine G‑Code programs for optimal cycle times and surface finishes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with all occupational health and safety regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements and cost‑saving measures.
- Train junior operators and apprentices on proper CNC lathe operation and best practices.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a Diploma (SMK) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Bachelor’s degree (S1) is preferred.
- Age: Candidates should be 30 years old or younger.
