Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Professional Wi‑Fi Technician to join our expanding team in the Jepara and Kudus regions. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in delivering reliable wireless connectivity solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients across Central Java.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys to assess client requirements, physical constraints, and optimal access‑point placement.
- Install, configure, and commission Wi‑Fi equipment—including routers, access points, antennas, and controllers—according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, and performance tuning to ensure maximum network uptime and coverage.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues on‑site, diagnose signal interference, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Document all installation and service activities in the company’s ticketing system, including diagrams, configuration files, and test results.
- Provide on‑site technical support and basic help‑desk assistance to end‑users, explaining solutions in clear, non‑technical language.
- Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to develop accurate cost estimates and timelines for new deployments.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging Wi‑Fi standards (e.g., Wi‑Fi 6/6E) and recommend upgrades or enhancements to improve service quality.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while working in various field environments, including residential neighborhoods and industrial sites.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, as specified by the client’s operational guidelines.
- Reside in Kudus or Jepara (local candidates preferred for rapid response times).
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in a relevant field; SMK TKJ (Technical Computer and Telecommunications) or equivalent is acceptable.
- Prior experience as a Wi‑Fi technician is highly preferred, though entry‑level candidates with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of IP networking, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and basic RF principles.
- Willingness to work on‑site from Monday to Saturday, 08:00–17:00, with occasional overtime for critical emergencies.
- Demonstrated honesty, strong work ethic, and reliability in previous roles.
- High motivation to learn, adapt to new technologies, and obtain relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA Wireless, Ubiquiti UniFi).
- Basic help‑desk support skills to assist customers with connectivity queries.
