Introduction

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, apply, and differentiate a variety of toppings—glazes, drizzles, sprinkles, and specialty sauces—according to Donat Bahagia’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Accurately pack freshly made donuts for display, delivery, and wholesale orders while maintaining product integrity.
  • Produce cream fillings, buttercreams, and other topping bases, ensuring texture, flavor, and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation, adhering to food safety regulations and internal hygiene protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with the bakery and production teams to synchronize topping application with baking schedules, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Assist in inventory management of topping ingredients, notifying supervisors of low stock or quality concerns.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, offering suggestions for new topping concepts or process enhancements.
  • Adapt quickly to changes in demand, seasonal product launches, and special promotions, demonstrating strong multitasking abilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a background in culinary arts, pastry, or food technology is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a pastry or bakery setting, specifically with topping preparation and donut assembly.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly, follow detailed SOPs, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong adaptability to the fast‑paced kitchen environment of Donat Bahagia, including shift work from 08:00 to 17:00.
  • Excellent hand‑eye coordination and an eye for detail to ensure visual appeal of each product.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and proper storage of perishable ingredients.

  • Key soft skills: teamwork, communication, problem‑solving, and a customer‑focused mindset.
