Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Kebersihan (Cleaning Staff) to join our veterinary clinic’s cleaning services team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a hygienic, safe, and welcoming environment for both our animal patients and their owners. This position combines routine sanitation duties with the care of small animal habitats, requiring a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a genuine love for pets, particularly dogs and cats.
The role operates within a fast‑paced clinical setting that includes inpatient wards, quarantine (titip sehat) areas, and a dedicated animal care clinic. You will collaborate closely with veterinary technicians, security personnel, and administrative staff to ensure that all spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sterilize all inpatient rooms, including isolation and quarantine areas, following established veterinary sanitation protocols.
- Sanitize and disinfect cages and enclosures for hospitalized animals, ensuring proper waste disposal and environmental safety.
- Wipe down, disinfect, and organize all medical equipment, bedding, and auxiliary supplies used in inpatient care.
- Provide regular feeding and water replenishment for animals in the clinic, while maintaining a clean feeding area.
- Assist the security team when needed, acting as a reliable backup to support overall facility safety.
- Perform routine maintenance on cleaning tools, electronic devices, and other equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Support additional operational tasks such as inventory checks, minor repairs, and ad‑hoc projects as directed by supervisors.
- Document cleaning activities in daily logs, noting any issues that require further attention from management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates, aged up to 26 years, in good physical health.
- At least 1 year of relevant cleaning or facility‑maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare or animal‑care environment.
- Strong adherence to hygiene standards and a meticulous approach to sterilization procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and report issues clearly.
- Friendly, disciplined, and hardworking personality with a genuine affection for small animals (dogs and cats).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols related to chemical cleaning agents and electrical equipment.
