Responsibilities
The Motorcycle Courier will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support efficient operations and high customer satisfaction. Core duties include:
- Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and small cargo to designated locations within the SPX area, adhering to scheduled timelines.
- Utilize Google Maps and other navigation apps to plan optimal routes, avoiding traffic congestion and minimizing travel time.
- Inspect the motorcycle before each shift to ensure it is in safe working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, obtain customer signatures, and update the dispatch system in real time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, providing updates on delivery status, delays, or unexpected obstacles.
- Handle cash on delivery (COD) transactions securely, following company policies for receipts and accounting.
- Provide courteous and professional service to clients, answering basic inquiries about delivery status.
- Participate in regular safety briefings and training sessions to stay current on best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in occasional promotional activities or special delivery campaigns as directed by management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications and possess the listed soft skills:
- Education: Minimum of SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- License: Active SIM C (Motorcycle driving license).
- Technical: Android smartphone with at least 4 GB RAM capable of running Google Maps and company apps.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; fresh entrants are welcome.
