Responsibilities

- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation practices, ensuring a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving deliveries, checking freshness, and organizing storage areas.
- Collaborate closely with fellow cooks, sous‑chefs, and front‑of‑house staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adapt dishes for special dietary requests (e.g., vegetarian, gluten‑free) while preserving flavor and presentation.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee food safety compliance.
- Participate in menu development sessions, offering creative input and testing new recipes.
- Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate enthusiasm for work, and uphold the restaurant’s brand image.
- Communicate effectively in English when interacting with English‑speaking guests or team members, especially during peak service periods.
- Adhere to the scheduled work hours: Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA), Vocational School (SMK), or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of professional cooking experience in a restaurant or similar food‑service environment.
- Strong work ethic: honest, diligent, and responsible.
- Excellent personal hygiene and a keen eye for cleanliness.
- Friendly, polite, and able to interact courteously with guests and colleagues.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting, supporting peers and sharing knowledge.
- Basic proficiency in English, especially for roles that involve guest interaction such as serving or taking orders.
