We are seeking a motivated Kasir Penjualan Retail with a strong focus on customer service to join our dynamic team in Surabaya. This role is critical to the daily operations of our retail outlets, ensuring smooth transaction processing, accurate cash handling, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience for every customer. Responsibilities

  • Process all sales transactions accurately using the store’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system, ensuring correct pricing, discounts, and promotions are applied.
  • Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments while maintaining strict adherence to cash handling procedures and daily reconciliation.
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering product queries and offering recommendations that drive additional sales.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that receipts, bags, and promotional materials are stocked and readily available.
  • Collaborate with floor staff to manage inventory levels, perform price checks, and resolve any discrepancies in real time.
  • Monitor and report any technical issues with the cash register or POS system to the store manager promptly.
  • Support loss‑prevention initiatives by identifying suspicious activity and following established security protocols.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer preparation, end‑of‑day balancing, and secure deposit handling.
  • Contribute ideas for improving checkout efficiency, customer flow, and overall store performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age range: 18 – 30 years.
  • All genders are welcome to apply.
  • Prior experience in a cash register or retail sales role is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate cash handling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to help customers.

  • Initiative‑driven, quick‑thinking, and capable of handling multiple customers during peak periods.
  • Willingness to be assigned to any Kembali Djaya Surabaya branch and reliable personal transportation.
