Introduction
We are seeking energetic and detail‑oriented individuals for the role of Picker & Packer (Hub Operasional) at our fast‑growing distribution center in Tangerang, Indonesia. This position is a key part of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive their products accurately and on time. Candidates must be male, aged 35 years or younger, and possess at least a junior high school (SMP/MTS) education.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, with a brief lunch break. Exact working days will be confirmed during the interview process. This is an entry‑level opportunity that welcomes candidates with zero or limited experience, provided they demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and follow instructions meticulously.
Responsibilities
The role is split into two interrelated functions: Picker and Packer. While some team members may specialize, many will rotate between both sets of duties to maintain operational flexibility.
- Picker duties
- Continuously monitor the incoming order queue in the warehouse management system.
- Print and verify inventory pick tickets for each new order.
- Locate and retrieve items from shelves, ensuring the correct SKU, quantity, and condition match the pick ticket.
- Transport picked items to the packing area, keeping the flow of goods smooth and uninterrupted.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor immediately.
- Packer duties
- Scan each product’s barcode against the corresponding order sheet to confirm accuracy.
- Package items according to company standards—using appropriate cushioning, labeling, and sealing methods.
- Update the system to indicate that the package is ready for dispatch.
- Trigger the driver call‑out process within the logistics software, effectively “shooting” the order to the assigned driver.
- Load completed parcels into the driver’s bag or van, hand them over, and obtain driver acknowledgment.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Collaborate closely with supervisors, inventory control, and transportation teams to resolve any order‑related issues promptly.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts and cycle‑count activities as required.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Male gender, age ≤ 35 years.
- No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with high attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy for operating the order management and scanning systems.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift items up to 20 kg throughout an 8‑hour shift.
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
