Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Penanggung Jawab (Head of Operations) for our Pangkalan Pinang office. This pivotal role will serve as the primary liaison between field staff and corporate management, ensuring smooth daily operations, compliance with labor regulations, and timely payroll processing. The successful candidate will be based in Pangkalan Pinang, work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, and receive a competitive weekly remuneration.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all TAD (Temporary Assignment) employees, ensuring they meet performance standards and adhere to company policies.
- Draft, review, and manage employee contracts, maintaining accurate records and ensuring legal compliance.
- Oversee attendance tracking, leave administration, and the full payroll cycle, guaranteeing that staff are paid accurately and on time.
- Act as the primary PIC/Korlap (Person In Charge/Coordinator) for project sites, handling on‑site problem solving and stakeholder communication.
- Conduct weekly visits to the main office to report progress, align with senior management, and address any operational challenges.
- Maintain up‑to‑date personnel files, including certifications, training records, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with the HR department to facilitate recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training initiatives.
- Prepare regular operational reports, highlighting key metrics such as attendance rates, overtime usage, and contract expirations.
- Ensure that all field activities comply with local labor laws, safety standards, and company SOPs.
- Provide on‑the‑spot support for any urgent employee issues, acting as the first point of contact for conflict resolution.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate or bachelor degree) in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience as a PIC, Korlap, or in a similar supervisory role within a field‑based operation.
- Male candidates only, in accordance with the client’s current gender specification.
- Maximum age of 35 years at the time of application.
- Possession of a valid motorbike and a clean driving record, as frequent site travel is required.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple employee records and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication abilities—both written and verbal—in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Proficiency with basic office software (Microsoft Office, Excel) and familiarity with payroll systems.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and a willingness to work independently while maintaining close coordination with the central office.
