Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using modern refractive equipment, ensuring accurate measurements for each client.
- Interpret test results and advise customers on the most suitable frames, lenses, and coatings based on their visual needs and lifestyle.
- Perform precise lens edging, facet cutting, and frame adjustment to guarantee optimal fit and comfort.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, answering questions patiently and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
- Maintain detailed records of each examination, prescription, and product recommendation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with sales associates to align clinical recommendations with store promotions, driving both customer satisfaction and sales performance.
- Participate in scheduled training sessions and workshops to stay updated on the latest optical technologies, lens materials, and industry best practices.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to hygiene protocols for all optical instruments.
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, management, and customers, contributing to a cohesive team culture.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Refraksi Optik, Optometri, or a related field.
- Active STR as a Refraksionis Optisien.
- At least 1–2 years of hands‑on experience conducting eye exams in a retail optical setting; a proven track record (paklaring) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in performing lens facetting, edging, and frame adjustment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex visual concepts in simple, customer‑friendly language.
- Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate across departments.
- Availability to work the designated shift schedule (Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00–18:00) and to start immediately.
- Not currently enrolled in any academic program; able to commit full‑time to the role.
