Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Staf Penjualan Luar Daerah (Field Sales Representative) to join our growing team. This role focuses on promoting and selling our product portfolio to sport stores, bakeries, hotels, and other retail outlets across the South Sulawesi region. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer‑focused, and comfortable traveling between cities to build and maintain strong distribution networks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits to sport stores, bakeries, cafés, hotels, and other retail partners to present product information and demonstrate usage.
- Develop and execute promotional activities that drive product awareness and stimulate sales in the assigned territories.
- Identify and open new distribution channels, including emerging retail concepts and specialty shops.
- Maintain accurate product knowledge and effectively communicate key features, benefits, and pricing to customers.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and order quantities with customers while safeguarding company margins.
- Ensure product availability by coordinating with logistics and inventory teams to prevent stock‑outs.
- Track sales performance against monthly and quarterly targets, preparing detailed activity reports for management.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing trends, and consumer preferences, and feed insights back to the marketing department.
- Build long‑term relationships with existing customers, providing after‑sales support and addressing any issues promptly.
- Travel extensively across Maros, Pangkep, Barru, Pare‑Pare, Pinrang, and surrounding areas, adhering to a structured visit schedule.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3/S1 preferred in any discipline.
- Age between 20‑28 years, any gender.
- At least 1–2 years of proven experience as a field sales or distribution sales representative.
- Strong personal presentation; clean, neat, and professional appearance.
- Residency in Pangkep, Barru, or Makassar (with experience handling out‑of‑city accounts).
- Deep understanding of the distribution landscape in Maros, Pangkep, Barru, Pare‑Pare, and Pinrang.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and open new retail channels such as bakeries, cafés, hotels, and sports stores.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a persuasive, customer‑centric approach.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and producing accurate sales reports.
- Own a reliable vehicle and possess a valid SIM A and SIM C driving license.
- Willingness to travel frequently between cities within the sales area.
- Flexible work schedule: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
