The successful candidate will support daily farm operations, assist with data collection, and act as a liaison between field teams and management. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine field inspections to monitor crop health, soil conditions, and pest activity.
- Gather and record accurate data on planting, harvesting, and maintenance activities using handheld devices or paper logs.
- Assist senior agronomists in the implementation of best‑practice farming techniques, including irrigation scheduling and fertilizer application.
- Transport small equipment, samples, and tools between farm sites using a personal motorcycle; ensure all items are safely secured.
- Communicate daily progress reports and any issues encountered to supervisors via phone, WhatsApp, or email.
- Participate in on‑site safety briefings and adhere to all health and safety protocols.
- Support logistical tasks such as loading and unloading supplies, setting up temporary field stations, and maintaining clean work areas.
- Engage with local workers and community members, fostering positive relationships and ensuring clear, courteous communication.
- Provide assistance during special projects, such as soil sampling campaigns, yield trials, or community outreach events.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
- Age: 23‑32 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome; however, prior experience in field work or agricultural internships is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Personal Traits: Discipline, honesty, high sense of responsibility, and a proactive attitude.
- Transportation: Own a motorcycle and possess a valid SIM C (required for travel between farm sites).
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of agricultural practices, ability to use mobile data collection tools, and familiarity with GPS navigation.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
