Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Supervisor Sales Operations to lead our automotive sales team in Makassar. This full‑time role operates Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and offers a challenging yet rewarding environment where strategic thinking and hands‑on leadership are essential. The ideal candidate will drive sales performance, nurture customer relationships, and ensure the team consistently exceeds its targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate clear sales strategies that align with corporate revenue goals, ensuring the entire sales team understands and embraces the plan.
  • Coordinate, coach, and monitor the daily activities of sales representatives, using performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and to boost overall productivity.
  • Provide ongoing training and mentorship, focusing on prospecting techniques, effective customer service, and the art of personal selling.
  • Oversee customer payment cycles, ensuring timely invoicing, collection, and resolution of any payment discrepancies.
  • Conduct market surveys and competitor analyses to uncover emerging trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities for product positioning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners, and relevant government or industry agencies.
  • Evaluate the sales team’s performance through regular reviews, feedback sessions, and data‑driven assessments.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) – preference given to candidates holding a D3 or S1 degree.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in the automotive sector, demonstrating a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a talent for relationship building.
  • Proven customer‑service orientation and personal selling expertise.
  • Creative, dynamic, and highly achievement‑oriented with the capacity to thrive under pressure.
  • Effective negotiation and coordination skills when interacting with customers and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM A or SIM C).
  • Willingness to be based in Makassar, preferably residing locally.
