Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Petugas Pemeliharaan to join our restaurant operations in Cianjur (Cipanas). This hands‑on maintenance role is critical to ensuring that all kitchen equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and civil infrastructure operate smoothly and safely. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to work flexible shifts in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all restaurant equipment, including noodle machines, fryers, stoves, cup sealers, refrigeration units, and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and resolve basic electrical and plumbing issues that arise during daily restaurant operations.
- Replace or repair faulty components in kitchen appliances to minimize downtime and maintain food safety standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of mechanical, electrical, and civil installations, documenting any irregularities or required corrective actions.
- Prepare clear, concise daily work reports that capture tasks completed, problems encountered, and solutions implemented.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area in accordance with company safety policies and local regulations.
- Collaborate closely with supervisors and other team members to prioritize maintenance activities and support peak service periods.
- Participate in a 3‑6‑month off‑site training program to deepen technical skills and stay current with industry best practices.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking spare parts, tools, and consumables needed for maintenance work.
- Support emergency response efforts, such as power outages or equipment failures, to ensure rapid restoration of service.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a technical diploma (SMK/STM) in Civil, Electrical, or Air‑Conditioning (Tata Udara) fields.
- At least 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality setting.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Fundamental skills in electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Strong personal attributes: honesty, discipline, responsibility, loyalty, creativity, hard‑working attitude, proactive mindset, innovation, and high dedication.
- Excellent teamwork capabilities while also being able to work independently when required.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to interact with supervisors, vendors, and other departments.
- Readiness to travel for a 3‑6‑month training program outside the city.
