We are a fast‑growing boutique bakery located in the vibrant Alam Sutra Town Center (ASTC) in Serpong Utara, Banten. Our brand is renowned for creating beautifully crafted cakes that celebrate life’s special moments. To support our expanding production line, we are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Cake Decorator – Baking & Coating who is ready to learn, grow, and contribute to our creative team.
Responsibilities
- Baking Preparation: Measure, mix, and whisk ingredients according to standardized recipes; operate ovens and proofing cabinets safely.
- Cake Production: Bake a variety of sponge, butter, and chiffon cakes; monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent texture.
- Ingredient Management: Receive, inventory, and organize raw materials; ensure freshness and proper storage.
- Coating & Color Matching: Select and blend cream colors to match client specifications; apply smooth, even coats of buttercream, fondant, or ganache.
- Collaboration with Decorators: Transfer coated cakes to senior decorators for final detailing, ensuring proper hand‑off and communication of any special instructions.
- Cleanliness & Sanitation: Maintain a tidy work station, follow HACCP guidelines, and assist with daily kitchen cleaning and waste disposal.
- Packaging & Delivery Support: Help package finished cakes securely and coordinate with delivery staff to ensure timely dispatch.
- Quality Assurance: Perform visual inspections for defects, document any deviations, and suggest improvements to recipes or processes.
- Continuous Learning: Attend on‑the‑job training sessions, participate in taste tests, and stay updated on emerging cake trends and coating techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates aged 18‑25, unmarried and without children.
- Not currently enrolled in any university program.
- No prior experience required; a genuine willingness to work and learn is essential.
- Strong work ethic – punctual, diligent, and eager to take initiative.
- Excellent attention to detail; ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely.
- Honesty and reliability in handling inventory and cash‑related tasks.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads (up to 15 kg).
- Readiness to attend a direct‑skill test at our Mangga Besar location.
- Availability for full‑time work: 6 days a week, Tuesday‑Sunday, 08:30 – 18:00 (including public holidays).
