Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and results‑driven Team Leader for Alcoholic Beverage SPG Management to join our fast‑growing sales division. This role is pivotal in overseeing the performance of Sales Promotion Girls (SPG) who represent our premium alcoholic beverage portfolio in retail outlets across the region. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership abilities with a keen understanding of the beverage market, ensuring that brand visibility, compliance, and sales targets are consistently achieved.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of SPG personnel responsible for promoting alcoholic beverages in supermarkets, convenience stores, and specialty shops.
- Develop and execute daily and weekly work schedules, ensuring an 8‑hour shift pattern (afternoon to evening) that aligns with retailer operating hours.
- Conduct regular on‑site visits to partner stores, assessing product placement, merchandising standards, and compliance with local regulations.
- Monitor SPG performance through key metrics such as sales volume, brand awareness scores, and customer feedback, providing timely feedback and corrective actions.
- Maintain the team’s operational readiness, including inventory checks, promotional material distribution, and equipment upkeep.
- Prepare detailed reports using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint, summarizing sales trends, promotional effectiveness, and actionable insights for senior management.
- Collaborate with the regional sales manager to set realistic targets, develop incentive programs, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure all promotional activities adhere to legal age‑verification policies and responsible drinking guidelines.
- Participate in weekly strategy meetings, sharing best practices and market intelligence gathered from the field.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age not exceeding 35 years.
- Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team‑lead role, preferably within the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) or alcoholic beverage sector.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with both internal teams and external retail partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with cloud‑based spreadsheets (Google Sheets).
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting sales data and generating performance reports.
- Ability to work flexible hours, specifically from 15:00 to 23:00, Tuesday through Sunday, covering a total of 26 working days per month.
- Leadership qualities such as problem‑solving, conflict resolution, and the capacity to inspire a high‑energy sales force.
- Knowledge of local alcohol regulations and responsible marketing practices is a plus.
