Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Script Writer who is passionate about crafting compelling narratives for film, television, and digital media. This full‑time role is based in a fast‑paced creative studio that produces content for social platforms, streaming services, and integrated marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, collaborating closely with art directors, producers, and brand managers to transform creative briefs into sharp, audience‑focused scripts.
Responsibilities
- Develop original, concise, and engaging scripts for a variety of formats, including short‑form social media videos, long‑form web series, television pilots, and digital advertising campaigns.
- Interpret creative briefs, research target audiences, and incorporate brand guidelines to ensure each script aligns with client objectives.
- Stay current with emerging social media trends, platform‑specific storytelling techniques, and industry best practices, applying this knowledge to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Collaborate with directors, editors, graphic designers, and voice‑over talent to refine scripts throughout the production pipeline.
- Deliver multiple script drafts on tight deadlines, incorporating feedback from internal stakeholders and clients promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a well‑organized script library, ensuring version control and easy access for cross‑functional teams.
- Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions, helping to shape campaign concepts, narrative arcs, and character development.
- Conduct script read‑throughs and adjust pacing, tone, and dialogue to maximize impact across diverse media channels.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Communications, Media Studies, Film Production, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1 + year of professional script‑writing experience for film, television, or digital content.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for advertising and marketing purposes.
- Strong grasp of storytelling fundamentals, character voice, and narrative structure.
- Proficiency in Indonesian and English, with excellent grammar and spelling in both languages.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, synthesize feedback, and revise scripts efficiently.
- Deep familiarity with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and their unique content requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the capacity to thrive under tight deadlines.
