Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Professional Waiter to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a polished appearance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast‑paced restaurant environment. As a senior member of the front‑of‑house staff, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our brand’s reputation for service excellence and ensuring smooth operations during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and explaining daily specials with confidence.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar, and ensure timely delivery to tables.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries and suggest appropriate pairings.
  • Supervise and mentor junior waitstaff, providing on‑the‑job training, performance feedback, and support during peak hours.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
  • Handle guest complaints or special requests with professionalism, turning potential issues into positive experiences.
  • Process payments, manage tabs, and ensure accurate billing while adhering to cash handling procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen, bar, and management teams to coordinate service flow and special events.
  • Upsell additional items such as desserts, specialty coffees, and premium beverages to increase average check size.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and ongoing training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, service protocols, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Open to all genders; a professional appearance is essential.
  • At least 2‑3 years of experience in a full‑service restaurant or similar hospitality setting; senior‑level candidates preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead by example.
  • Excellent time‑management and multitasking capabilities, especially during high‑volume periods.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, including proper table setting, wine service, and handling of special dietary requests.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, with shifts from 08:00 to 17:00, and occasional overtime during events.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
