Introduction
PT. XYZ Manufacturing is seeking a diligent and analytical Staff Production Planning and Inventory Control to join our dynamic team in the Jeron, Nogosari, Boyoalali region. This pivotal role ensures that raw material consumption aligns with production schedules, inventory levels are optimized, and the manufacturing floor operates smoothly. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with procurement, production, and quality teams to drive efficiency and maintain the highest standards of operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production plans based on sales forecasts, order backlog, and capacity constraints.
- Calculate material consumption (both primary raw materials and auxiliary supplies) and generate accurate requisition orders.
- Read and interpret production markers to align material flow with floor schedules.
- Perform inventory control activities, including stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation of warehouse and floor inventories.
- Analyze inventory data to identify excess, obsolete, or slow‑moving items and propose corrective actions.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials while minimizing excess stock.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production performance, material usage, and inventory variances.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements, waste reduction techniques, and cost‑saving measures.
- Facilitate effective communication between production supervisors, warehouse staff, and senior management.
- Maintain compliance with company SOPs, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the planning and control processes.
Requirements
- Gender: All genders accepted.
- Age: Maximum 35 years (no strict upper limit).
- Education: Minimum D3/D4; preferably S1 in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in production planning or inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in calculating material consumption and handling auxiliary (ACC) items.
- Strong ability to read and interpret production markers and schedules.
- Experienced in inventory control, stock analysis, and floor‑level inventory reconciliation.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
- Self‑motivated with the capacity to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Problem‑solving mindset and proactive attitude toward process improvement.
- Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
- Location: Jeron, Nogosari, Boyoalali.
