Introduction
Bina Artha Ventura is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Officer Internal Control for its Gorontalo branch network. This full‑time position plays a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of our banking operations by ensuring that all branches adhere to corporate policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with branch managers, audit teams, and external partners to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the Gorontalo region.
Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly on‑site visits to all Bina Artha Ventura branches in Gorontalo to audit compliance with internal policies and SOPs.
- Provide hands‑on coaching and re‑explain procedures to branch staff, ensuring they fully understand and correctly implement required processes.
- Identify gaps in operational controls, prepare detailed audit reports, and recommend actionable corrective measures.
- Collaborate with the Risk Management and Credit departments to assess the impact of control deficiencies on credit risk and overall financial performance.
- Track the implementation of corrective actions, following up with branch managers to verify timely completion.
- Maintain accurate documentation of audit findings, compliance checklists, and performance metrics in the company’s internal database.
- Assist in the development and revision of SOPs, incorporating best practices from the banking and financial services industry.
- Support senior audit staff in preparing for external regulator inspections and internal audit cycles.
- Promote a strong ethical environment by facilitating workshops on compliance, data protection, and anti‑fraud measures.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools to analyze data trends, generate dashboards, and present findings to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma 3 (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (D4) in any discipline; a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in banking, financial services, credit marketing, credit analysis, or junior audit roles.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—to convey complex compliance concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, branch personnel, and external partners.
- Result‑oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and achieving audit targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with audit software or data‑analysis tools.
- Own a reliable vehicle and hold a valid driving license, as regular travel to branch locations is required.
- Willingness to be stationed permanently in the Gorontalo area and travel frequently within the region.
