Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader Sales Promotor to spearhead our sales initiatives in the vibrant Palembang area. This full‑time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team of sales promoters, build strong relationships with retail partners, and drive market share for a fast‑growing consumer goods brand. The role involves hands‑on field work, strategic planning, and continuous coaching to ensure that both the team and the brand achieve their sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed the assigned sales targets for the Palembang territory.
  • Conduct daily store visits, establishing and nurturing relationships with store PICs (Persons In Charge) to maximize product visibility.
  • Ensure flawless execution of promotional programs, including timely placement of POP (Point‑of‑Purchase) materials.
  • Collaborate with partner operational teams to gather intelligence on sales trends, competitor activities, and field challenges.
  • Supervise a team of 15‑20 Sales Promoters, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and motivation.
  • Monitor daily activities and performance metrics of promoters, adjusting tactics as needed to meet targets.
  • Design and deliver regular training sessions and refresher workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales reports, highlighting achievements, gaps, and action plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of promotional material inventory and ensure proper replenishment.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the field team and corporate headquarters, communicating updates and escalations promptly.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, field promotion, or team leadership within a consumer‑focused environment.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess competitor actions and sales performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with merchants and internal stakeholders.
  • Leadership qualities with a track record of managing and developing a sales team.
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis.
  • Gender: open to all candidates.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, including occasional travel within the assigned area.
