Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and answering basic questions about the restaurant’s offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar, and ensure timely delivery to the table.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing silverware, and monitoring table settings throughout service.
- Demonstrate a strong basic sequence of service, from greeting to farewell, ensuring each guest experiences a seamless dining journey.
- Handle cash and electronic payments responsibly, preparing bills and processing transactions with precision.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate orders, manage special requests, and resolve any service issues swiftly.
- Monitor stock levels of tableware, napkins, condiments, and other service supplies, reporting shortages to management.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, following proper sanitation protocols at all times.
- Continuously develop product knowledge, including seasonal menu changes, special promotions, and wine pairings, to provide informed recommendations.
- Participate in regular training sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews to enhance service quality and personal growth.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a waiter or service staff in a comparable restaurant setting.
- Strong basic sequence of service with the ability to execute each step consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail; clean, neat appearance and a responsible attitude toward duties.
- Fast learner with a high capacity for adaptation to new procedures, menu items, and technology.
- Outstanding multitasking skills, capable of handling multiple tables and orders without compromising quality.
- Open‑minded, intelligent, and a true team player who contributes innovative ideas to improve guest experience.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Availability to start immediately and work the scheduled shift: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates as needed.
