Introduction
The Bank XYZ is seeking a proactive and results‑driven Account Officer for its Kantor Bantul branch. This full‑time position plays a critical role in expanding the bank’s credit portfolio, building strong relationships with local businesses and individuals, and ensuring that credit decisions align with our risk policies. The successful candidate will operate in a dynamic, field‑oriented environment, representing the bank across the Bantul area while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new credit customers through prospecting, networking, and community outreach.
- Conduct comprehensive credit analyses, including financial statement review, cash‑flow assessment, and collateral evaluation.
- Prepare and present credit proposals to the credit committee, ensuring compliance with internal risk‑rating guidelines.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and cross‑selling banking products such as deposits, loans, and cash management services.
- Visit client sites regularly to monitor business performance, verify use of funds, and gather market intelligence.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly loan‑disbursement targets while adhering to quality and compliance standards.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports on portfolio performance, delinquency trends, and field activities for senior management.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop localized promotional campaigns that drive loan uptake.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry trends, and competitive offerings to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements
- Male or female candidates, maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum education: D3/S1 (any major), preferably in Economics, Management, or Banking.
- At least 1 year of experience as an Account Officer or Credit Marketing Officer; fresh graduates with strong internships may be considered.
- Proven ability to analyze creditworthiness and make sound recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Target‑oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in the field.
- Valid SIM C driver’s license and personal vehicle for client visits.
- Deep knowledge of the Bantul market area, including local business dynamics and community networks.
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with banking software platforms.
