- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards by sterilizing tools, disinfecting workstations, and following health regulations.
- Stay updated on emerging nail art trends, new products, and advanced techniques to provide cutting‑edge services.
- Recommend complementary services and retail products, effectively upselling to increase client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Manage appointment scheduling, maintain accurate client records, and ensure timely follow‑up for repeat visits.
- Collaborate with fellow stylists, therapists, and front‑desk staff to deliver seamless, high‑quality client experiences.
- Assist in inventory control, ordering of supplies, and monitoring product usage to minimize waste.
- Participate in regular training sessions and mentorship programs to continuously improve technical skills.
- Handle high‑pressure situations calmly, especially during peak hours or when addressing client concerns.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma / SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (as per client preferences and salon policy).
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Relevant experience: At least 1 year of professional manicure/pedicure work in a reputable salon or spa.
- Certified in nail care (e.g., Manicurist License, Pedicurist Certification) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, client‑focused demeanor.
- Honest, responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of nail health, product safety, and current industry trends.
- Proficiency in basic computer tasks for appointment booking and inventory tracking.
