Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Laboratory Analyst – Chemistry and Microbiology to join our dynamic research and quality assurance team. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and non‑routine chemical analyses using techniques such as HPLC, GC, titration, and spectrophotometry.
- Perform microbiological testing, including culture preparation, colony counting, identification of bacterial and fungal isolates, and antimicrobial susceptibility assays.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, including test results, instrument logs, and calibration certificates, in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
- Prepare reagents, media, and standard solutions while ensuring proper labeling, storage, and waste disposal.
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, and service laboratory equipment to guarantee reliable performance.
- Assist in the development and validation of new analytical methods and protocols.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—such as R&D, production, and quality control—to resolve analytical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation and demonstrating compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, maintain a clean work environment, and promote a culture of safety among peers.
- Contribute to scientific reports and present findings to senior staff and stakeholders as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor) in Laboratory Analysis, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Female candidates, maximum age 30 years.
- Active STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) license required for clinical laboratory work.
- Prior laboratory experience is preferred, though fresh graduates with strong academic performance are welcome.
- Demonstrated ability to work with precision, honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English for report writing.
- Proficiency with common laboratory software and data management systems.
