Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and professional Pengemudi Kendaraan Operasional Perusahaan to join our logistics team in Solo and its surrounding areas. This position is crucial for ensuring that employees, guests, and campus‑related activities are supported with safe, timely, and courteous transportation. The successful candidate will operate both automatic and manual vehicles, maintain the fleet in excellent condition, and demonstrate a strong knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
Responsibilities
- Operate company‑provided passenger cars and light vans for daily business trips, campus events, and special assignments.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes using navigation apps, printed maps, and local knowledge to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Conduct pre‑trip vehicle inspections, including checking oil levels, tire pressure, brakes, and overall cleanliness.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid top‑ups, and coordinating scheduled service appointments.
- Maintain accurate driving logs, mileage reports, and fuel receipts for accounting and compliance purposes.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or equipment, ensuring safety and proper handling of items.
- Provide courteous customer service, answer basic inquiries about routes, and represent the company’s brand positively.
- Remain flexible to work overtime during campus events, holidays, or peak periods, as required.
- Report any vehicle defects or incidents promptly to the fleet manager and follow company protocols for incident documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards while on duty.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Valid Indonesian SIM B (driver’s license) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles confidently.
- Strong familiarity with Solo city routes and surrounding districts, including major highways and campus access points.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting digital maps (Google Maps, Waze) and traditional road maps.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime for campus activities.
- Physical ability to perform routine vehicle checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Excellent punctuality, reliability, and a professional demeanor.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with employees of all genders.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, such as oil checks and routine servicing.
