Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guru Playgroup (PG) – Taman Kanak‑Kanak to join our early childhood education team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals who are passionate about fostering the developmental milestones of young children in a vibrant, supportive environment. The successful candidate will work closely with children aged 2‑5 years, guiding them through play‑based learning activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans that align with national early childhood curricula.
  • Facilitate interactive play sessions that develop language, motor, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Observe and assess each child’s progress, documenting observations and preparing regular reports for parents and senior staff.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing feedback on their child’s development and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrative staff to plan events, field trips, and special projects.
  • Utilize computer software for attendance tracking, lesson planning, and record‑keeping.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and training sessions to stay current with early childhood education best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field.
  • Age limit: maximum 35 years at the time of application.
  • Open to all genders.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage young learners.
  • Basic computer literacy – proficiency in Microsoft Office, educational software, and email correspondence.
  • Clean criminal background record (SKCK) and a recent health certificate.
  • Passion for child development, patience, creativity, and a collaborative mindset.
