Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Barista Profesional Penyaji Minuman Kopi dan Teh to join our dynamic team at Café Aroma Nusantara. As a front‑line ambassador of our brand, you will craft high‑quality beverages, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and contribute to the overall success of our café locations across Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and temperature.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including regular sanitization of tools, counters, and seating areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately, offering product recommendations, and handling payments through POS systems.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, teas, milk, syrups, and disposables, notifying supervisors of low stock and assisting with restocking when needed.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours, and assist in training new hires on barista techniques and café policies.
- Handle customer complaints or special requests with professionalism, aiming for swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in regular product knowledge sessions, tastings, and skill‑development workshops to stay current with industry trends.
- Adhere to all company policies, including punctuality, uniform standards, and compliance with labor regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of proven experience working in a restaurant or café environment.
- Valid Indonesian KTP (Identity Card).
- Strong commitment and serious intent to work full‑time.
- Ability to thrive in a team setting and perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer‑focused attitude.
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00, including occasional overtime during busy periods.
- Passion for coffee and tea, with a willingness to continuously improve barista skills.
