Introduction
We are seeking a passionate Guru Bahasa Indonesia Senior – Pengembangan Kurikulum to join Sekolah Tahfidz Qur’an Citamulia for the academic year 2026/2027. As a senior Indonesian language teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the linguistic, moral, and intellectual development of our students, who aim to become hafidz, alim, smart leaders of the nation. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and continuously refine the Bahasa Indonesia curriculum in alignment with national standards and the school’s Islamic educational philosophy.
- Deliver engaging, student‑centered lessons to classes ranging from primary to early secondary levels, incorporating interactive methods, storytelling, and project‑based learning.
- Integrate digital tools such as MS Office, Canva, and learning management systems to create multimedia resources, assessments, and interactive presentations.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, provide timely feedback, and maintain comprehensive academic records.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and the head of curriculum to ensure interdisciplinary coherence and to support school‑wide initiatives.
- Mentor junior teachers and conduct professional development workshops on effective language instruction and digital classroom strategies.
- Foster a nurturing classroom environment that promotes respect, discipline, and a love for learning, while adhering to the school’s code of conduct and dress standards.
- Participate in parent‑teacher meetings, school events, and community outreach programs to build strong partnerships with families.
- Stay current with educational trends, language pedagogy, and Islamic educational research to continuously enhance teaching practice.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, PGSD, or a related field with a GPA of at least 3.0.
- At least 2 years of proven teaching experience in Bahasa Indonesia, preferably in an Islamic or bilingual school setting.
- Strong command of the Indonesian language, including grammar, literature, and composition.
- Demonstrated ability to use digital platforms (MS Office, Canva, LMS) for lesson planning and delivery.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging both children and adult stakeholders.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children; ability to build rapport quickly.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism; disciplined and punctual.
- Creative mindset with a broad perspective on educational innovation and curriculum development.
- Must be a practicing Muslim (male or female), aged between 25‑35 years, with a neat and modest appearance.
- Willingness to comply with school policies, work hours (Monday‑Friday, 06:30‑15:30), and ongoing professional development.
