Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Sales Representative to join our growing team in the Bandung metropolitan area. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives on building strong relationships with retail partners, driving product availability, and achieving sales targets in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between our company and a network of local stores, ensuring that the PROPAN product line is prominently positioned, well‑stocked, and consistently promoted.

As a key member of the sales force, you will be responsible for expanding our market footprint, fostering customer loyalty, and supporting the overall growth strategy of the organization. The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and works closely with logistics, finance, and marketing teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing retail customers, acting as their trusted advisor.
  • Monitor inventory levels at each store to guarantee product availability and prevent stock‑outs.
  • Drive sales by increasing purchase orders, promoting new product launches, and encouraging repeat purchases of the PROPAN line.
  • Coordinate timely deliveries, verify receipt of goods, and proactively address any potential returns or complaints.
  • Oversee accounts receivable collections, ensuring that payments are received according to company credit terms and targets.
  • Identify and prospect new retail outlets, converting them into long‑term partners for PROPAN products.
  • Conduct regular field visits, conduct product demonstrations, and gather market intelligence on competitor activity.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, analyzing performance against quotas and providing actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to execute promotional campaigns and in‑store merchandising initiatives.
  • Adhere to company policies, maintain accurate documentation, and comply with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Male candidates, maximum age of 35 years.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in retail or trade‑sales, preferably in the paint or related consumer‑goods sector.
  • Valid SIM C driver’s license and personal vehicle for field visits.
  • Deep familiarity with the Bandung Raya market and its retail landscape.
  • Strong communication skills, honesty, loyalty, high fighting spirit, and a results‑driven mindset.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to meet strict sales deadlines.
  • Physically and mentally fit to handle a demanding schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, CRM tools) and ability to generate accurate sales documentation.
