Introduction
Grup Tapanuli is expanding its footprint across the North Sumatra region and is seeking a dynamic Manajer Cabang Lending to lead its micro‑finance operations in the Tapanuli area. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving loan portfolio growth, nurturing relationships with village cooperatives, and ensuring that the branch meets its performance targets while upholding the highest standards of integrity and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys and community outreach to promote the company’s lending products at the kecamatan (sub‑district) and desa (village) levels.
- Coordinate and secure meeting schedules with local partner groups, ensuring all engagements are documented and follow company SOPs.
- Monitor, coach, and evaluate the performance of branch staff, providing constructive feedback and development plans.
- Deliver daily forecasts of loan disbursement volumes, partner counts, and financing needs to senior management in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform periodic field visits to all registered partner groups to verify compliance, assess credit quality, and identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive monthly branch reports covering financial results, risk metrics, and operational highlights.
- Lead weekly branch meetings to review key performance indicators, discuss challenges, and set actionable goals for the upcoming week.
- Collaborate with the risk and compliance teams to ensure all loan approvals adhere to internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Drive digital adoption by encouraging the use of mobile and online platforms for loan applications and repayments.
- Maintain a safe and motivating work environment, promoting teamwork, discipline, and ethical conduct.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; any field of study is acceptable.
- Age: 35 years or younger.
- At least 2 years of experience in micro‑finance, small business lending, or related banking sectors.
- Proven supervisory or team‑leadership experience of a minimum of 2 years.
- Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, high discipline, and a reputation for honesty.
- Possession of a valid motorcycle (SIM C) for field visits and community outreach.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, manage credit risk, and achieve sales targets.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in local dialects is a plus.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional weekend or evening activities for community events.
