Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Intern Drafter to join our dynamic design team on a paid basis. This position offers a hands‑on learning environment where you will apply your academic knowledge to real‑world architectural projects, from concept sketches to fully developed construction documents. The role is full‑time, Monday through Friday, with standard office hours of 09:00 – 17:00. Responsibilities
- Create accurate 2D floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D visualizations and renderings with SketchUp and Enscape to convey design intent to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with senior architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design solutions meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in design review meetings, taking notes, and incorporating feedback into revised drawings.
- Assist in preparing presentation boards, material boards, and digital portfolios for client proposals.
- Maintain organized file structures and documentation, ensuring that all revisions are properly logged and archived.
- Conduct basic site research, code compliance checks, and material quantity take‑offs when required.
- Support the team with ad‑hoc tasks such as model cleanup, detail drawing production, and quality control checks.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape are essential.
- Strong eye for detail and the ability to produce precise, error‑free drawings.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and a collaborative team mindset.
