Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned field sites throughout Pare‑Pare and surrounding districts to conduct surveys, interviews, and observational studies.
- Utilize smartphones, tablets, and GPS devices to record quantitative and qualitative data accurately.
- Verify the completeness and consistency of collected information on‑site, correcting any discrepancies before leaving the location.
- Maintain a daily log of visited locations, respondent details, and time stamps, ensuring traceability for audit purposes.
- Coordinate with local community leaders and stakeholders to secure permissions and facilitate smooth data‑collection processes.
- Prepare and submit daily reports to the field supervisor, highlighting any obstacles, weather impacts, or unusual observations.
- Adhere to all safety and ethical guidelines, protecting the privacy and confidentiality of respondents.
- Assist in the calibration of data‑collection tools and provide feedback on questionnaire clarity and relevance.
- Support the data‑entry team by transferring field notes into the central database, performing basic validation checks.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on new methodologies, software updates, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Valid motorcycle license (SIM C) and personal motorcycle for travel to field sites.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to engage respectfully with diverse community members.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to follow standardized data‑collection protocols.
- Basic proficiency with mobile data‑collection apps, GPS navigation, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Self‑motivation, reliability, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to travel long distances on a motorcycle and to work in varying weather conditions.
- Prior experience in field data collection, market research, or related roles is a plus but not required.
