Introduction
We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Sales Akuisisi Merchant EDC – Area Kabupaten Paser to join our growing team. This role focuses on acquiring small and medium‑sized enterprises (UMKM) for our Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machine solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for direct field outreach, building relationships with business owners, and achieving daily sales targets while representing the company’s commitment to financial inclusion and digital payment adoption in the region.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door‑to‑door canvassing and scheduled visits to UMKM owners throughout Kabupaten Paser, presenting the benefits of our EDC devices.
- Achieve a minimum of 2–3 new merchant sign‑ups per day, contributing to the regional sales quota.
- Perform product demonstrations, explain transaction fees, and address technical or operational questions.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects using a handheld CRM tool, ensuring accurate data entry and follow‑up scheduling.
- Collaborate with the regional sales manager to plan territory coverage, prioritize high‑potential leads, and report daily activity logs.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and emerging payment trends to provide feedback to the product team.
- Provide after‑sales support during the onboarding phase, ensuring merchants can successfully process transactions and troubleshoot basic issues.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the company’s code of conduct while representing the brand in the community.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in financial services, technology, or consumer electronics.
- Valid SIM C and personal two‑wheel vehicle for daily travel across the territory.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic proficiency with mobile data entry tools and familiarity with sales analysis techniques.
