Introduction
We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Sales Manager – Jakarta Pusat Region to lead our expanding vape‑product portfolio across the heart of Jakarta. This role is pivotal in strengthening our market presence, cultivating relationships with retail partners, and driving revenue growth in a highly competitive and rapidly evolving industry. The successful candidate will operate from Monday to Saturday, working 08:00‑17:00, and will report directly to the Regional Director of Sales.
Responsibilities
- Store & Distributor Development: Proactively visit existing vape shops and distributors, identify new sales opportunities, and onboard additional retail locations to broaden product coverage.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with key accounts, providing product education, handling inquiries, and resolving issues to ensure long‑term partnership satisfaction.
- Sales Target Achievement: Set, track, and exceed monthly sales quotas through strategic planning, effective territory coverage, and continuous performance monitoring.
- Reporting & Analysis: Compile accurate, timely sales reports, analyze market trends, and present actionable insights to senior management for informed decision‑making.
- Team Leadership & Training: Coach junior sales representatives, conduct product trainings, and lead by example to foster a high‑performance sales culture.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, emerging vaping regulations, and consumer preferences to adapt sales tactics and maintain a competitive edge.
- Promotional Execution: Coordinate in‑store promotions, sampling events, and marketing campaigns to boost brand visibility and drive foot traffic.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only.
- At least 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the vape, tobacco, or FMCG sectors.
- Demonstrated success in developing retail networks and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with a data‑driven approach to problem solving.
- Self‑motivated, resilient, and capable of working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
