Introduction
SPX Express, a leading provider of logistics and supply‑chain solutions in Indonesia, is seeking a dedicated Shiftlead for its Karangrayung hub in Grobogan, Central Java. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of parcels between our customers, couriers, and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners. The successful candidate will be the operational heartbeat of the shift, coordinating schedules, monitoring inbound and outbound movements, and driving continuous improvement across the delivery network.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily schedules for courier pick‑up and drop‑off activities, ensuring optimal route planning and resource utilization.
- Monitor real‑time shipment status, promptly addressing delays, exceptions, or customer inquiries to maintain service level agreements (SLAs).
- Define and adjust delivery zones based on volume trends, traffic patterns, and seasonal demand, optimizing route efficiency.
- Oversee inbound and outbound processes, coordinating with the 3PL team to guarantee accurate receiving, staging, and dispatch of goods.
- Supervise sorting operations, verifying that parcels are correctly categorized and routed for final distribution.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, pick‑up accuracy, and cost per parcel, presenting actionable insights to senior management.
- Lead a small team of junior coordinators, providing coaching on logistics best practices, data‑driven decision making, and safety compliance.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, local regulations, and health‑and‑safety standards throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with the IT department to enhance system integrations, ensuring that tracking and reporting tools reflect real‑time operational data.
- Participate in shift hand‑over meetings, delivering concise reports on performance, challenges, and upcoming priorities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; diploma or bachelor’s degree in any field is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related discipline, with a strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes.
- Proven ability to analyze logistics data, control costs, and implement process improvements.
- Demonstrated leadership and team‑management skills, including the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and willingness to be stationed in Karangrayung, Kab. Grobogan.
- Strong organizational aptitude, attention to detail, and the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
