Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Housekeeping Professional to join our hospitality team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitising of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities following established SOPs.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure all amenities are stocked, linens are fresh, and any maintenance issues are reported promptly.
- Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens, and cleaning chemicals; place orders when stock levels fall below minimum thresholds.
- Coordinate with the front‑desk and maintenance teams to prioritize room turnover and address special guest requests.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely, including vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and carpet extractors.
- Supervise and mentor junior housekeeping staff, providing training on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and guest service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal.
- Assist with the care of indoor plants and landscaping elements within the property, ensuring they remain healthy and presentable.
- Participate in periodic deep‑cleaning projects, such as carpet shampooing, window washing, and upholstery care.
- Maintain accurate records of completed tasks, inventory usage, and any incidents or guest feedback related to housekeeping.
Requirements
- Age: 25 – 30 years.
- Education: Minimum D3/D4; SMK level with a focus on Housekeeping is preferred.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of professional housekeeping or related service experience.
- Valid motorcycle licence and ability to operate a motorcycle for transportation of supplies.
- Demonstrated honesty, diligence, and a strong work ethic; ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, order, and a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic knowledge of plant care and ability to tend to indoor greenery.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Flexibility to work the designated schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
