Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Security Officer – Asset Protection & Supervision to join our dedicated team. This pivotal role is responsible for safeguarding company assets, ensuring the safety of personnel, and maintaining strict security protocols across all facilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in security operations, a keen understanding of building systems such as HVAC and mechanical engineering (ME), and the ability to lead a team of junior officers while coordinating with other operational departments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular perimeter and interior patrols to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security breaches.
- Oversee the operation of access control systems, CCTV monitoring stations, and alarm response procedures.
- Collaborate closely with the HVAC and mechanical engineering teams to monitor equipment integrity, report anomalies, and ensure that security considerations are integrated into maintenance activities.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standard operating procedures, and emergency response plans in line with industry best practices.
- Lead incident investigations, compile detailed reports, and present findings to senior management for corrective action.
- Train, mentor, and schedule junior security staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents, providing accurate information and support.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, visitor records, and equipment checks, ensuring compliance with internal audit requirements.
- Perform risk assessments for new projects or facility expansions, recommending security enhancements where needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a similar security officer role, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Male candidates only, with a minimum height of 165 cm.
- Valid Indonesian Driving License (SIM A) and relevant security certification.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical engineering concepts to effectively monitor and protect critical infrastructure.
- Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for interacting with staff, visitors, and external agencies.
- Proficiency in writing clear incident reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Physical fitness to perform regular patrols and respond swiftly to emergencies.
