Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Storekeeper – Manajemen Persediaan & Logistik to join our hospitality operations team. This role is based at a premier Swissôtel property within the Accor portfolio, where you will play a pivotal part in maintaining seamless inventory flow, supporting guest services, and upholding the high standards of cleanliness and efficiency that our brand is known for. Responsibilities
- Manage daily stock levels of all hotel supplies, including linens, amenities, food‑service items, and maintenance materials.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and reporting any discrepancies.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to minimize shrinkage and maintain optimal stock rotation.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to place re‑orders, negotiate with vendors, and track lead times for critical items.
- Maintain detailed inventory records in the company’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) and generate reports for management review.
- Ensure all storage areas comply with safety regulations, fire codes, and Accor’s environmental standards.
- Collaborate closely with housekeeping, food‑and‑beverage, and engineering departments to anticipate their material needs and fulfill requests promptly.
- Support guest satisfaction by guaranteeing that all guest‑room and public‑area supplies are stocked, clean, and presented according to Swissôtel standards.
- Assist in the training of junior staff on proper handling, labeling, and documentation procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements that reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3/D4) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or logistics, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; proficiency in English is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team, under pressure, and during shift work that includes weekends and public holidays.
- Professional appearance, service‑oriented mindset, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Physical stamina to handle manual lifting, moving stock, and standing for extended periods.
