Responsibilities
- Assist senior pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and verifying prescription medications while adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
- Manage inventory control processes, including receipt, storage, rotation, and disposal of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Coordinate and monitor medication distribution during each shift, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery to clinical units.
- Support the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
- Provide patient counseling under pharmacist supervision, delivering clear instructions on dosage, administration routes, and potential side effects.
- Maintain and update pharmacy information systems, ensuring data integrity for medication orders, stock levels, and patient records.
- Participate in regular audits, medication safety reviews, and compliance checks to meet hospital accreditation standards.
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication‑related queries.
- Train and mentor junior pharmacy assistants and interns, fostering a culture of learning and professionalism.
- Work rotating shifts, including weekends, to provide continuous pharmacy support for the hospital’s 24‑hour operations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Pharmacy.
- Possession of a lifelong Indonesian Pharmacy Practice Registration (STR) is mandatory.
- Female candidates only, as specified by the department’s operational needs.
- Recent graduate (fresh graduate) or up to 2 years of relevant experience; no extensive prior experience required.
- Strong ethical standards: honesty, discipline, and a commitment to patient safety.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work flexible shift schedules, Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, including occasional weekend coverage.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with pharmacy management software.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus for handling technical documentation.
