Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our team at KJ Mega Store, located in Sampit, Central Kalimantan. This frontline position is essential for maintaining high‑level customer satisfaction, promoting store promotions, and supporting smooth logistics operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive female professional, aged 35 or younger, with at least one year of experience handling customer inquiries and complaints in a retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and courteously to in‑store and online customer questions, providing accurate information and resolving issues in accordance with company SOPs.
- Inform shoppers about current special offers, discounts, and promotional campaigns, encouraging upselling and repeat visits.
- Manage the administrative side of product deliveries, including preparing shipping documents, coordinating with logistics partners, and confirming receipt with customers.
- Create engaging daily Instagram Stories for the store, showcasing new arrivals, promotions, and behind‑the‑scenes moments to boost brand visibility.
- Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain (SC) team and Sales Promotion Girls (SPG) to ensure timely procurement and delivery of merchandise.
- Work with the warehouse admin to schedule shipments, monitor inventory levels, and guarantee that stock is replenished without disruption.
- Monitor store CCTV footage to ensure safety, identify potential issues, and report any irregularities to management.
- Make regular public announcements within the store to highlight ongoing promotions, new products, and important store policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that all point‑of‑sale equipment functions properly.
- Document daily activities, sales figures, and customer feedback in Microsoft Office tools for reporting and analysis.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Female candidates only, aged 35 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of experience as a front‑liner or customer service representative in a retail or service‑oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle complaints calmly and professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms, especially Instagram, for content creation and publishing.
- Excellent multitasking abilities; able to juggle customer interactions, administrative duties, and coordination tasks simultaneously.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic; willingness to work Monday through Sunday from 07:30 to 15:30.
- Team player attitude with the capability to coordinate effectively with supply chain, warehouse, and promotional staff.
