Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule daily housekeeping activities, ensuring optimal coverage for all rooms and public areas.
- Coordinate with the front‑desk, maintenance, and food‑and‑beverage departments to prioritize guest requests and special projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and service areas to verify compliance with hotel cleanliness standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders and track usage to control costs.
- Provide on‑the‑job training and mentorship for housekeeping staff, reinforcing best practices in hygiene, safety, and guest service.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, highlighting key metrics such as room turnover time, guest feedback, and staff attendance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints or service issues, taking corrective action and following up to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal.
- Participate in periodic audits and quality assurance programs to uphold the hotel’s brand standards.
Requirements
- Male candidate, age up to 30 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; any major accepted.
- Honest, meticulous, and highly responsible with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse departments.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, hotel property management systems) is preferred.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English proficiency is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift moderate loads throughout an 8‑hour shift.
