Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver interactive Bahasa Indonesia lessons for both SMP (middle school) and SMA (high school) classes.
- Design lesson plans that align with the national curriculum while incorporating modern pedagogical techniques such as project‑based learning and digital media.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive, inclusive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and curriculum specialists to develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate language skills with other subjects.
- Participate in regular faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and parent‑teacher conferences.
- Adapt teaching schedules to accommodate flexible afternoon sessions, ensuring coverage for extracurricular activities and remedial support.
- Serve as a mentor for junior teachers and assist in orientation programs for new staff members.
- Commit to continuous self‑improvement by staying updated on educational trends, language teaching methodologies, and technological tools.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Indonesian Language Education, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Ability to teach both SMP and SMA grade levels with confidence and adaptability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of engaging students of all genders.
- Flexibility to work during afternoon hours and to travel to any of our three campuses (Sumedang, Cimalaka, Situarja).
- High sense of responsibility, professionalism, and loyalty to the institution’s mission.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred, but fresh graduates with a solid academic background are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in using educational technology, such as learning management systems and interactive whiteboards, is a plus.
