Introduction
Adira Finance is seeking a dedicated Problem Account Officer for its Bojonegoro (Jawa Timur) branch. This role is pivotal in managing the accounts receivable (A/R) portfolio, specifically focusing on overdue balances that fall between 61 and 120 days. The successful candidate will be a results‑driven professional who can balance analytical precision with strong interpersonal skills to ensure timely collections while maintaining positive relationships with clients.
The position reports directly to the Credit & Collection Manager and works closely with the finance, legal, and sales teams to safeguard the company’s cash flow and meet aggressive collection targets.
Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end collection activities for overdue accounts (A/R 61‑120 days), ensuring all actions are completed within defined timelines.
- Conduct outbound calls, send reminder letters, and arrange face‑to‑face visits to negotiate repayment plans.
- Analyze customer payment histories and identify risk indicators to prioritize collection efforts.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection performance, overdue aging, and recovery rates for senior management.
- Coordinate with the legal department for escalated cases, including preparation of documentation for potential litigation.
- Collaborate with sales and account managers to understand client circumstances and propose realistic settlement options.
- Maintain accurate records in the company’s ERP system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal audit standards.
- Continuously monitor and update the collection strategy based on market trends and internal performance metrics.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to junior collection staff, fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism.
- Participate in regular training sessions on regulatory changes, negotiation techniques, and financial product knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate) or S1 (bachelor) in any discipline; open to fresh graduates with strong motivation.
- Male candidates only; maximum age of 29 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit management, or related financial services; 2 years is considered a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to understand multi‑finance business processes and work toward defined targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation capabilities.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP or collection management software.
- Ability to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00, and adapt to the local domicile for placement.
