Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Sales Officer to join our dynamic team in Pontianak, Kalimantan. This role is pivotal in expanding our market reach by promoting a diverse portfolio of products to both existing and new customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate the credit application process from initial contact to final approval. Responsibilities
- Actively market and present the company’s product range to existing customers and prospect new accounts across the Pontianak region.
- Generate sales orders through various distribution channels, gather initial customer data, and verify the accuracy of all required documentation.
- Prepare and submit credit applications, ensuring that all paperwork complies with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Monitor the status of credit applications, provide timely updates to dealers and customers, and communicate approval or rejection decisions clearly.
- Inform customers of payment terms, due dates, collection locations, and any other critical information related to their purchase.
- Maintain a detailed sales pipeline and report daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics to management.
- Collaborate closely with the finance and logistics teams to guarantee smooth order fulfillment and after‑sales support.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross‑selling additional products and services based on customer needs.
- Participate in regular market research to stay informed about competitor activities, pricing trends, and emerging customer preferences.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any major) – fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Age: up to 30 years old.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in B2C sales or credit‑related sales functions (experience is a strong advantage but not mandatory).
- Proven ability in interpersonal communication, negotiation, and relationship building.
- High integrity, diligence, meticulousness, and honesty in handling confidential customer data.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license (SIM A/C) and personal vehicle for field visits.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00, with placement based on the candidate’s domicile.
- Key competencies: sales management (B2C), effective communication, result‑oriented mindset, and a solid understanding of sales targets.
